   Please arrive 10 minutes early to join our small group tour of the National Mall aboard our all-electric 7-passenger vehicle — a sustainable and efficient way to explore DC’s vast monuments.

3. Stop 3 Pass by

   Discover the National Mall’s role in LGBTQIA+ history, from early equality marches to the AIDS Memorial Quilt. A site of activism and remembrance, it remains a key space for Pride and advocacy today.

4. Stop 4 Pass by

   As we pass the National Gallery of Art, admire its grand neoclassical architecture and hear about its world-class collection spanning centuries of artistic brilliance.

5. Stop 5 Pass by

   Next, we pass the National Museum of Natural History, known for its iconic dome and incredible exhibits like dinosaur fossils and the Hope Diamond.

   At our next stop, discover how aviation and space exploration shaped history as we pass the National Air and Space Museum, home to iconic aircraft and spacecraft.

   At our next stop, uncover the stories behind America’s past as we pass the National Museum of American History, home to treasures like the Star-Spangled Banner and presidential artifacts.

   Hear stories of resilience, culture, and triumph at our next stop as we pass the Museum of African American History and Culture, a striking symbol of Black heritage in America.

   Hear stories of leadership and legacy at our next stop as we admire the towering Washington Monument, a timeless tribute to America’s first president.

    Next we will see the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, where powerful architecture and storytelling honor the memory of millions and teach the importance of human rights.

11. Stop 11 Pass by

    Next, we move through the major monument areas, marveling at how floodlights highlight the stately architecture, including the Jefferson and Martin Luther King Jr. Memorials glowing softly by the Tidal Basin.

12. Stop 12 Pass by

    Next we will see the Jefferson Memorial, its elegant dome and columns reflecting beautifully across the Tidal Basin as we hear stories of America’s founding ideals.

13. Stop 13

    Explore Dr. King's civil rights legacy, which inspired the LGBTQIA+ rights movement. Learn about Bayard Rustin, a key figure in both movements, and the connection between racial and sexual orientation discrimination.

    Next we will see the Lincoln Memorial, where the grand statue and towering columns pay tribute to a president who preserved the Union and championed freedom.

    Next we will see the Korean War Veterans Memorial, where lifelike statues of soldiers silently honor the bravery and sacrifice of those who served in the 'Forgotten War.

16. Stop 16

    Honor LGB service members who fought in the Vietnam War, despite policies banning open service, at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, which pays tribute to all who served, regardless of sexual orientation.

    Continue past Washington DC’s most famous address: the White House. Keep your camera ready to test out your night photography skills as you stop at the sites.

18. Stop 18 Pass by

    As we travel down iconic Pennsylvania Avenue, we pass landmarks like the Old Post Office Building, National Archives, Navy Memorial, and several historic federal buildings that shape the heart of Washington’s civic life.
